Every girl needs a purse

As the days wrap up for me to return back to work : ( Karly and I are spending LOTS of QT together. Please don't bring it up...not too sure how I'm going to do this!! Thanks Aunt Sarah for the cute little purse; she loves it! I'm cherishing EVERY moment...

Bow time!

So we've (Karly and I), well I'm not so sure Karly, but I have been waiting very patiently for her hair to grow so we can do all those fun girly things to it! It has finally gotten to the point where she can wear a cute little bow that actually clips to her hair. I have a feeling that she might not keep it there for as long as a want her to, but for the moment, it sure does look too cute!!

Date Night

Grandma headed for our house after work to watch Karly while her Mommy and Daddy went out for a date. I'm sure all of you mommies understand when I say you almost have to force yourself to leave your little one, but we hadn't been out without her for a while. Nothing too extravagant; we headed to the Pleasant Hill rodeo for a little fun. We thought of bringing our monkey buckets with us at first, but then it didn't start until 8pm and it was suppose to get chilly out so we decided to leave her with Grandma. Karly did pretty good considering we haven't left her in a long time. Grandma said she only cried for about 30 minutes. They had fun playing and snuggling together until we got home. Thanks Mom!! It's nice to get out and about, and know that she's so safe with someone she loves dearly at home!

All about Karly!!

So I'm sorry if you're getting tired of my blogs being ALL about Karly, but I just can't resist! She is so great for the camera and I wish I had time to share them all... so after a short visit to Uncle Jay's, he gives me a CD full of more pictures. Call me biased, but she just happens to be the CUTEST baby ever!! It helps that she comes from two families full of beautiful people!! Enjoy! :)

Cousins, cousins, everywhere!

I can't tell you how excited I am for Karly to have so many cousins to play with; and can you believe they're ALL girls!! Too fun huh! Listed from oldest to youngest: Rylee, Avrey, Paisley, Torey, and Gabi'. Boys look out, I think you're in for some trouble! So Karly and Gabi' are the two girls on my side of the family and the others are on her Daddies side. Uncle Jay and Aunt Tati got them matching outfits this summer. Total photo op! If we can just keep Karly from eating Gabi' now, we'll be doing great!! She LOVES all her big girl and baby cousins!!

Baby Gabi'

So as many of you know, my brother Jay and sister-in-law Tati had their first baby girl on May 13th. Many of you have asked to see pictures of her and I finally got some to share! She is just too sweet and cute! Definitely one of my favorite pictures!!

On to bigger and better things...

So it looks like that's going to be the new thing to do on things all over the house. Here's Miss Thing pulling herself up on her walker to stand and play. Wow! I think we're in for some pretty good falls in the near future... here's to no scars!

Okay, so I was just talking to my Mom earlier today telling her that Karly was wanting to pull herself up to stand and trying to walk every where today and I was just not sure if this was too early for her to be doing this yet and getting quite tired myself of having to help her ALL day... Daddy gets home and we go into her room to hang up her clothes, put her in her crib to play for a few minutes and look at what she can do now!! Let the fun begin!! Good thing we got that crib lowered!! Boy do they amaze you with something new everyday!!

Where does the time go?

So my baby isn't such a baby anymore... Daddy officially had to lower her crib tonight so she doesn't pull herself up AND over she would have gone. It was bed time and I got her to sleep and quietly snuck in for a picture of my big girl. So I think she slept for about 3 minutes... we're not doing so hot sleeping without Mommy these days. But here's the pics I was able to grab.

4th of July at the Lake!

So I never have been very good at taking pictures but I did get better once Karly came along! We spent the weekend at the Lake for the 4th with lots of family and had a great time! But of course, I didn't take any pictures of Miss Karly in the lake for the first time. She had a ball and LOVES the water! It was more like taking a bath because it was so warm though. My Mom and Aunt Pat had fun with her in a little kiddie pool just her size. Total photo op but again no pictures! I think I must have been having too much fun relaxing and taking advantage of the great free babysitting!! We had every intentions of going out on the boat with Karly to see the fireworks but you try putting a very tired baby into a life jacket or should I say straight jacket and see how much she likes it! Needless to say, Daddy, Karly, and I stayed in for the night while the rest of the family went out. They were back in less than 15 minutes and didn't have great things to say about the firework display anyway. The weather didn't cooperate with us very well and we were lucky to get in just a few hours of fun in the sun! It was nice to be on a little vacation with lots of help with Karly but boy is it great to be home too!! Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!
