Welcome Mr. Ryder!

Our family, the Beerbaur side, welcomed the 6th grandbaby into the world on Friday, May 21st, Mr Ryder Mathis. The 1st boy addition to the clan! He weighed 8lbs. 9oz. and was 20 inches long. He now holds the weight record out of all the grandbabies. Congratulations to Aunt Sarah, Uncle Toby, and Paisley!! He is too sweet for words!

Piggy Tails!

I hate to think that I've been slacking on doing Karly's hair up until this point... I just truly didn't know how much I could do with it! Although it is growing, I just didn't think anything but a part on the side and a bow to keep it out of her face would work. So the other night while she was busy into watching her fav tv shows on Nick Jr, I decided to explore. She's not too crazy about me playing with it now, but she just better get used to it because it was too much fun! And I am bound and determined to make her not so tender headed in the process. Good luck with that huh! Here's Karly's first true set of piggy tails!
Gotta love them! ; )

The back view! Too cute don't ya think! ; )

Happy Mother's Day!!

To all my BEAUTIFUL Mother family and friends, hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!! I had a LOVELY Mother's Day with a ton of family members. Even though the weather was a little cloudy and chilly, we had a huge family BBQ at Karly's Aunt Grandma's house. There we got to hang out with all of our cousins, second cousins, Grandma's, Uncle Grandpa, Aunt Tati, Uncles, and baby cousin Gabi! Karly's day was filled with fun rides in the golf cart, running as fast as she could in the grass, watching Daddy play washers, golf, and basketball, seeing all the farm animals, the coolest bubble gun, stealing everyone's cell phone to watch Go Diego Go, dancing, singing, and hamming it all for ALL to see! I didn't take as many pics as I probably should have, but that's because I was having too much fun visiting myself.
Thanks for a GREAT Mother's Day!

Look at this AWESOME bubble gun!! She LOVED it!! Thanks Uncle Jeff!

So proud of our Daddy!!

Last October Stephen made a HUGE career change to better his family. (He's always thinking of us cause he's the BEST!!) He went from being the best Union Laborer, in which he had been doing for 8 years, to working as an Apprentice and having to learn the ropes to be a Estimator for Pyramid Roofing Company. This meant that he TOTALLY had to learn all new info. to do his job, which is hard for us all to do! Knowing that this also meant a major salary decrease until he was out on his own, which could be up to a year, he also decided to get rid of his truck...I promise this was HIS decision! Again, thinking of us! So after 8 months of car pooling, we are ALL very excited to say that he is officially out on his own and now has his own company truck! Karly and I couldn't be any more proud of him!! Since he got his truck, late last week, all Karly has wanted to do is be in it! So as we are spending time outside in this nice weather, we have to take several minutes to just play in Daddy's new truck. So this morning when we were all leaving home to start our day, I had to snap a quick pic of Daddy and his girl. They just happen to be wearing matching pink shirts too! We have the BEST Daddy in the World!! ; )

Torey Bell & Karly Sue as Nana would say...

Yesterday was a fun filled day hanging out and eating with Uncle Josh, Aunt Korey, Torey, Nana, Poppa Bob, and Papa Tim. The boys fried up some yummy catfish fillets and potato wedges and I made some homemade potato salad for the first time. Well, it turned out to be more like mashed potato salad by the time we got in from outside, but it was still yummy. Korey and I took the girls outside to play while the boys started cooking. Together they did sidewalk chalk and chased each other in the driveway. It's so cute to see them interact now.
The girls!

Miss Brunette & Miss Blondie

So after a long afternoon of running, playing and eating we decided it was BATH time!! I love snapping pictures of babies in the tub! They had a great time splish-splashing in the water.
Both girls were tucker out by the time the got out of the bath! Together the enjoyed an ice cream cone and then it was time to hit the hay! Thanks for playing with us Torey Bell!
