Super Models

(From left to right:Kynly, Jacob, Karly, Nicole & Asher)

Thanks to my sweet and beautiful cousin, Nicole Hopkins, Karly and Kynly got to be in their first fashion show at Louisburg High School. Nicole has been working all year at school to make the cutest outfits for her lil' cousins. We gathered at Debbie and Kevin's house for yummy pizza and time to get dresses and do hair. Karly was SUPER excited!! We spent the weekend prior, talking about the walking on stage (the run way), painting her toes, and picking out the perfect sandals to go with the dresses that Nicole made.

And I wonder why I'm going to be in trouble later on in life! ; )

Nicole had to carry baby Asher, so the other little ones were on their own

...and boy did they ALL work it!

Jacob and Karly just couldn't get enough of the stage, so they joined Nicole again for the finale.

All of the cousins were Super Models and did a great job up on stage! Karly and Kynly loved Jacob and Asher!

Thanks again to the Hopkins for making this such a memorible moment for my girls!

We're back...

Easter 2012 Now come on people...it's only been 3 1/2 months since I've blogged and you think that is slacking?! Ha! I know, I know!! Mommy's been just a little busy since the new year. Between work, mommy hood duties, and wifey hood duties, I've decided that I need a clone!

Not that ALL Mommy's don't feel that way! : )

To recap the last few months - The girls and I had a GREAT Spring Break! I posted most of those pics on facebook just because it is a little more convenient and much faster that way.

So sorry if we aren't FB friends.

And we have a new swingset/play house in the backyard to help entertain us in the evenings and on the weekends now that the weather is SO nice! Again, pics on FB.

So the next big picture opp was Easter! I cannot take the credit for most of these though (thanks Aunt Sarah!) If I don't catch it on my phone here lately, my camera seems to be out of sight and mind! We spent the morning at my Mom's and had a yummy breakfast. The girls got super cute Easter baskets filled with all sorts of goodies! We played baseball outside with Uncle Jeff and had an Easter egg hunt (about 10 times). The girls LOVED searching for eggs! Then followed all that up with a BBQ with Stephen's family at Gigi's house. It's always so great to see all of our Grandparents, parents, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. There's never a dull moment and always someone to talk and play with!

We have quite the CREW these days and I wouldn't have it any other way!

:) Love all these lil' guys and gals! : )Hope you all had a very blessed Easter!

Princess At My Party!

My baby girl is 3!! And I do have to say that she had one of the coolest themed parties around! After many months of indecisiveness...

she settled on a Tangled(Rapunzel) party.

Party supplies $100, Princess At My Party $150, the BEST Princess party a little girl could dream of...

Priceless!

Princess stories, make-overs, the works! Just how a girl should be treated!

XOXO ~ Thanks to all of our "princess" friends and family that joined us! ~ XOXO

Happy 3rd Birthday Karly!

Yo Gabba Gabba LIVE

Every little ones dream is to go to Yo Gabba Gabba LIVE, right?! Well who would have thought that it turned out to be one of the coolest experiences for the Momma too?!

Daddy opted to stay and watch the Chiefs game with Uncle Jeff, so Karly, Kynly, my Mom, and myself headed out to "the show" at the downtown Music Hall to meet Uncle Jay, Aunt Tati and Gabi. Little did we know that we had some of the BEST seats in the whole place. Row F, left orchestra, to be exact. Here we had almost the whole row to ourselves, only about 5 rows from the stage, and an entire space to dance the ENTIRE show! I'm thinking we couldn't have had it any better, but boy was I wrong!

Grandma, Karly and Gabi during the "hug" song! : )

Shortly after the show started, two girls approached me and asked if Karly and Gabi could go on stage and dance at intermission, or at least that's what I thought she said. She put a special sticker on their shirts, labeled "dance party" and I spent the next several minutes prepping Karly to go on stage. Ok, so when intermission arrived and the girls were nowhere in site, I started to think we were missing out on something and then realized I had totally heard her wrong. Not only were the girls going to get to dance on stage, but it was going to be DURING the show with Dj Lance and the other rappers. OMG!! And these pictures don't do justice!

Karly couldn't have made her Momma any more proud!! When the girl came by to get her, she went right with her up onto the stage. Under the BIG lights and LOUD music, she danced her BOOTIE off!! Between trying to take pictures, record what I could with my phone, and watch without crying with joy... it was a Momma's dream come true too!!

After about 10 minutes on stage, she walked right over and jumped to me. She was screaming with excitement and I think I was just as happy for her!! (Made me think of a teenager that just got to meet Justin Bieber or something!)

So when it was all said and done with, and the show was over, Karly burst into tears! "All she wanted to do was give Brobie a BIG hug!" After my Mom tried everything in her power to make that happen, (offering her credit card and all), I think we ALL left with memories that will never be forgotten! Thanks for coming with us Mom!!

Halloween 2011

We gathered at Uncle Jay and Aunt Tati's house for another Halloween celebration this year!

First off... fun with pictures!

We were REALLY scared!

Karly started the day off WAY excited, but when the time came to dress up, we didn't get real far... She didn't want to wear the hat or new boots with her Jessie costume. (Really hoping that she is just in a bad funk and gets out of it soon!) She only changed her mind about a hundred times of what she even wanted to be over the past few months...from a princess, to a pirate, to a skeleton, and finally committed to Jessie, from Toy Story, at the Halloween store.

Now Kynly on the other hand, didn't have much say in what she wanted to be (ha) so Karly and I came up with hers...Minnie Mouse.

And I'd have to say that she was the CUTEST Minnie Mouse I've ever seen.

We all had a blast taking pictures, hanging out, and trick-or-treating. Well the ones that didn't stay in to watch the Chiefs game, but not going to name any names...Uncle Jeff and Stephen.

Happy Halloween from the Beerbaur/Szymanski clan!

Pumpkin Patch

Our family went to the pumpkin patch again this year with some great friends that first introduced us to Carolyn's. This is one of the best pumpkin patches around! There is always so much to do and see! I'll let the pictures take you on our 4 hour adventure, ENJOY! : )

The petting zoo, well behind Kynly...neither girl wanted much to do with the goats.
Fun paintings to take your picture with...
Rubber tire horsey rides... Karly was not in the mood for pics that day!
All aboard the choo choo TRAIN!!
Finally, the hay ride out to pick the PERFECT pumpkin! And to snap a few family/friend pics!! (those don't come too easy these days)

Hope you are enjoying this beautiful Fall Season! Love to all!
