My Girls!

Time is flying by and my girls are getting so big!

Stephen and I were just talking last night how Karly is not our little baby anymore...as we looked at how big her feet are getting! There is absolutely NOTHING this girl can't say. She amazes us everyday with her every growing vocabulary. I am thinking dance classes are in our near future. She LOVES to sing and dance. Shrek is still the BIG hit around our house. We are down to only watching it only once a day though, not 25 so that has been nice! Her new favorite phrases are, "That's a deal?!" (when she's trying to wager to get her way), "Oh my goodness!", "Sure I can?!", "I'm so glad you're here!" Too much love for this girl!!

And Miss Kynly Lynn, now 5 months old, is getting to be so much fun!! She is constantly smiling, laughing out loud, talking, singing, screaming in excitement, rolling over, and jumping to the sky in her jumper! Her hair will NOT stop growing and is so beautiful. It is super curly right after the bath and then calms down a bit. She is doing great at Aunt Grandma's house and they LOVE having her. I think Uncle Grandpa might be in love with her too!! We are grateful to have such wonderful caretakers for her!

What an exciting adventure we have ahead of us!!
We are blessed with some of the greatest girl around!!

Welcome to MY world!

So I get to work yesterday and my co-teacher, para, and I were talking and all of the sudden she says, "Holly, do you have on two different shoes?" Okay people, these weren't just 2 shoes that looked the same, but were different colors...these were 2 TOTALLY different shoes!! Not the same color, NOT the same style, and really NOT even the same height. I should have totally noticed, but never did!! After we got through the laughter, all I could say was "Welcome to MY world right now!" I know things will get easy, but come on!! I'm a little overwhelmed with just LIFE in general right now! Please pray for me!! : )

My BIG girl!

Kynly is now 4 months old and I can hardly believe it!! Although the time has gone by pretty fast, I can't wait until she gets just a little bit older so she can do ALL the fun things that we get to do with Karly now. She has rolled over a few times (we are still working on mastering this skill), she laughs out loud all the time, smiles constantly, and overall has turned into quite the little ham baby!! And we are loving every minute of it!! We ventured to Topeka this weekend for Paisley's (her cousins) 5th birthday and the girls had a great time!! It was a super pretty pirate party!! Poppa Bob was able to snap a photo of Miss Kynly and it is definitely one of my favs!! : ) Whata BIG BIG girl she is getting to be!!

It's gotta be the hair!

Kynly and Karly at about 4 months old
Really not sure how two babies can be born and look so DIFFERENT and then end up looking quite the same...it's gotta be the hair! Miss Kynly Lynn is changing daily in her looks and is starting to look more and more like her big sister Karly. And I have to admit that I am LOVING it! Not that I want them to be identical, but I want them to look like sisters for sure. There for a little while I felt like I needed to tell people that I swore they were from the same father! ; ) Everyday they are starting to look more and more alike! They for sure have a sisterly LOVE!

Everything rolled into one!

I'm officially a blog slacker again! And for those whom I haven't talked to in a while...this "working mommy" of 2 stuff kicked my butt the last few weeks!! So here is my attempt to catch up all at once! I have actually been needing to post several pics for the last month or so and for some odd reason, just can't find the time! ; )

Miss Kynly Lynn has been quite a hand full, but I think we finally got her figured out (it only took us 3 1/2 months!) As I was talking to a Mom of a 6 month old at my brother's Christmas party about what a difficult baby she has been, Julie told me she would put $ on it that Kynly has a milk allergy. I has spoke to her pediatrician about it, but she just told me to cut out some of my dairy...not dairy entirely!! So after about 2 weeks of no dairy; we have a PERFECT baby!! I mean, she doesn't cry from the moment she wakes up till the moment she goes to sleep!! And now here I am feeling horrible for what I must have been putting her through the first 3 months of her life. She is constantly smiling, laughing out loud, and lovin life!! And her hair won't STOP growing!

Recent pic of my two girls!! Karly continues to LOVE her baby sister!! She actually thanks me for her probably on a daily basis. She is my little helper...she loves to hold Kynly, talk to her on the way to the sitters in the morning, feed her (w/ help), give her a paci, pretty much do it all! And the LOVE is has for her is AMAZING!! Now Kynly might have a different feeling...for now at least!

Daddy has been home with us the last 2 SNOW days!! He and Karly got out for a bit yesterday and I didn't think we were going to be able to get Karly to come inside! She LOVED the snow! I thought for sure she wouldn't like it due to the fact that she could barely move because she was bundled up so warm! She really wanted to build a snowman, but unfortunately, the snow would not pack! So together they chased the dogs, made snow angels like Shrek, and had a ball! That's a wrap for now...hopefully it won't be another 2 months before I get the opportunity to post again! Much love to all!!

Luckiest Mommy EVER!

These pictures are PRICELESS!
I am the luckiest Mommy in the WORLD to 2 BEAUTIFUL baby girls!

Happy 2nd Birthday Karly!

Can you believe it?! My baby turned 2!! To celebrate her actual birthday on Wednesday, Dec. 1st, we took her to Chucky Cheese for the first time and she LOVED it! Not sure which was her favorite part, seeing the animals sing and dance on stage, playing games (hoopin it up with Daddy!),

and climbing in the tubes with Mommy (yes I went ALL the way up!),

or dancing and getting to hug the REAL Chucky Cheese when he came out!

This child has no fear and I love it! We had a blast!

Then on Saturday, we celebrated her birthday again with family and the PURR-fect Kitty cat party! The day started at Fun Run where she had a TON of fun on the inflatable jump houses and slides with her cousins!

We followed it up at the house with pizza, presents, and the coolest Kitty cat cupcakes! Yes, I will take ALL the credit for those!! And I think they turned out the cutest EVER!

Happy Birthday Princess Karly! I love you bunches! XOXO
